In my opinion a true classic album is one where every song has the potential to be your favourite on the album and I've definitely gone through a phase of lovin' each track on Illmatic.
Not only is this album my favourite hip hop album, it's my favourite album of all time.
Nas set the levels lyrically with this album and from my point of view has yet to be beaten. From start to finish, pure genius.
Go cop it, I'm sure you can pick it up pretty cheap now its a few feckin' years old!
